The Government Girls Polytechnic Charkhari was established in the year 2008 and is an affiliated college situated in Mahoba, Uttar Pradesh. The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) accredited this institution aims at offering quality technical education to the female candidates.

As the management has targeted a total of students per section of 108 and a faculty of 14, the polytechnic provides the students with an excellent learning system. There are only two courses at the institute at the moment, which are Electronics Engineering and Information Technology, both very much in demand today.

The total number of seats available in the institute is 120, and for each course, it is 60. The diploma programme in Electronics Engineering has the objective of preparing students with knowledge and practical skills in electronic systems and circuits. The programme of study in Diploma in Information Technology deals on computer science and information systems to prepare learners for the dynamic IT world.
