This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how subscriptions, cancellations, renewals, and refunds work for Knwdle.
1. Plans and Billing
Knwdle may offer free plans, monthly plans, yearly plans, custom plans, and trial access. Paid plans may renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing cycle.
2. Who Is the Customer?
In most paid organisation setups, the contracting customer is the user acting as the organisation administrator or authorised purchaser, even where the subscription is used by the wider organisation.
3. Free Plans and Trials
Knwdle may offer a permanent basic free tier and may provide paid-plan trials on request or as part of onboarding. Trial terms may vary.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel a paid subscription before the next renewal date. Cancellation generally prevents future renewal charges but does not automatically create a retroactive refund for the current paid period.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, your paid plan may remain active until the end of the current billing cycle after cancellation.
5. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be considered in limited circumstances, including:
- duplicate charges;
- incorrect billing caused by a technical error;
- successful payment where the paid service was not provisioned due to a confirmed platform-side issue;
- other exceptional cases reviewed by Knwdle in good faith.
6. Situations Where Refunds May Not Be Available
Refunds are generally not available for:
- partial use of a billing period after activation;
- change of mind after meaningful use of the service;
- failure to cancel before auto-renewal where the service remained available;
- issues caused by customer-side misconfiguration, misuse, or unsupported environments;
- custom implementation or onboarding work already delivered.
7. App Store Purchases
If Knwdle later offers subscriptions through app stores, those purchases may also be governed by the relevant app store's billing and refund policies.
8. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact us from your registered billing or account email and include:
- your account or organisation name;
- registered email address;
- invoice or payment reference, if available;
- reason for the refund request.
9. Review Timeline
We aim to acknowledge billing and refund requests within 24 business hours and usually review eligible refund requests within 7 business days.
