These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Knwdle, including our website, web applications, related services, and connected product experiences such as Knwdle-Connect.
By accessing or using Knwdle, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
Knwdle is currently operated under the Knwdle brand. If formal legal entity details are updated later, we may revise these Terms accordingly.
1. Who Knwdle Is For
Knwdle is designed for educational and organisational use, including by:
- schools, colleges, coaching centres, tuition centres, NGOs, and training organisations;
- organisation admins, teachers, staff members, and authorised operators;
- students and parents or guardians;
- individual users where Knwdle permits direct use or sign-up.
2. Eligibility and Authority
By using Knwdle, you represent that:
- you are legally capable of accepting these Terms, or are using the service through appropriate institutional or guardian-authorised access;
- you are authorised to create or manage the account you use;
- you will use Knwdle only for lawful and legitimate purposes;
- the information you provide is not misleading or fraudulent.
3. Accounts and Access
Knwdle supports organisation-managed access, invited access, and some self-sign-up flows depending on the product workflow.
You are responsible for:
- keeping login credentials secure;
- all activity under your account;
- promptly notifying us of unauthorised access or suspected compromise;
- ensuring users in your institution are assigned correct roles and permissions where you control those settings.
4. Subscriptions, Plans, Billing, and Renewal
Knwdle may offer free plans, free usage tiers, trial access, paid subscriptions, custom plans, monthly billing, yearly billing, and organisation-level subscriptions.
In most cases, the contracting customer is the user acting as the organisation administrator for the subscription, even where the plan is used by the wider organisation.
Paid plans may renew automatically unless cancelled in accordance with the subscription settings or our cancellation policy.
Payments currently may be processed through Razorpay. If app store billing is added later, those purchases may also be subject to the policies of the relevant app store.
5. Free Plans and Trials
Knwdle may offer a basic free plan and may also provide limited-time or request-based trials of paid plans. Trial availability, features, and duration may change at our discretion.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use Knwdle for unlawful, harmful, abusive, or fraudulent activity;
- upload malware or harmful code;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to data, accounts, systems, or networks;
- bypass permissions, rate limits, or security controls;
- interfere with platform stability or availability;
- reverse engineer, scrape, probe, or exploit the platform except as allowed by law and with our written permission;
- use the platform for spam, harassment, or unauthorised bulk communication;
- misuse student, parent, staff, or institutional data.
7. Content and Data
Users and institutions retain ownership of content and records they create or lawfully control within Knwdle, subject to applicable law and institutional arrangements.
You grant Knwdle a limited right to host, store, process, transmit, and display that content only as necessary to provide and improve the service.
You are responsible for ensuring that content you upload or create does not violate law, third-party rights, or institutional obligations.
8. Role-Based Permissions and Visibility
Knwdle uses role-based and audience-based controls. Visibility depends on role assignments, memberships, school settings, workflow permissions, and platform rules.
You must not attempt to access or modify information outside your authorised scope.
9. Beta, Evolving, and Early-Stage Features
Some features or services may be in beta, early access, preview, or evolving states. As a result:
- features may change, be improved, or be removed;
- workflows may evolve over time;
- bugs, interruptions, or incomplete functionality may occur;
- we may adjust product behavior as the platform matures.
10. Availability and Service Changes
We may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of Knwdle at any time, including specific modules, features, plans, or integrations.
We are not liable for every change in product design, workflow, or availability, especially where such changes are made for security, compliance, operational, product, or technical reasons.
11. Third-Party Services
Knwdle may rely on third-party infrastructure and service providers, including cloud hosting, storage, payment processing, and other platform operations. Your use of third-party components may also be subject to those providers' terms to the extent applicable.
12. Cancellations and Refunds
Paid subscriptions may be cancelled in accordance with the billing and cancellation settings offered by Knwdle. Cancellation generally stops future renewal but does not necessarily invalidate the remaining paid period already purchased.
Refunds, where applicable, are governed by our Refund / Cancellation Policy.
13. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if:
- these Terms are violated;
- use poses a security, legal, financial, or operational risk;
- payment obligations are not met;
- we are required to do so by law or regulation.
You may stop using Knwdle at any time. Deletion or termination requests may be subject to verification and retention obligations.
14. Intellectual Property
Knwdle, including its product design, branding, software, interface, documentation, and service materials, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Except for the limited right to use the service under these Terms, no ownership or licence rights are transferred to you.
15. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Knwdle is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly secure service at all times.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Knwdle will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, including loss of revenue, loss of goodwill, loss of data, or business interruption.
Where liability cannot be fully excluded, our total liability will be limited to the amount paid by you to Knwdle for the relevant paid service during the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or INR 10,000, whichever is lower.
17. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Knwdle harmless from claims, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of the service, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.
18. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are intended to be interpreted reasonably and in good faith in light of the service being provided. Unless otherwise required by applicable law, disputes will be handled under the laws applicable in India.
If a court finds any part of these Terms unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue to apply to the maximum extent possible.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Knwdle after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
