The Srinivas School of Engineering, Mangalore (SSE), is a reputed institution in Karnataka that imparts engineering education. The admission process at SSE is an exercise to sift through the eligible candidates for the different engineering programs run by the institute. Hence, by using the marks obtained in nationally recognized entrance examinations, the institute maintains a fair and competitive selection process.

SSE recognizes two types of potentially major entrances for the purpose of admission: Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Under Graduate Entrance Test (COMEDK UGET) and Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET).
