St. Soldier Degree College, Phagwara, is a co-educational institution, and it offers numerous programmes for bachelor degrees and postgraduate programmes. St. Soldier Degree College admission strictly follows the merit process for all its courses so that qualified students can be given the opportunity to excel in their respective fields in their study at the college.

The college has eight programmes in total, comprising undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the arts, science, commerce, business management, and computer applications. The usual admissions to St Soldier Degree College coincide with the academic calendar of Punjab universities, wherein this process usually begins May to June onwards for the July and August academic intake.
