Agia College aims to impart quality education and comprehensive development to its students through various academic and co-curricular facilities. The college offers five full-time Bachelor of Arts (BA) programmes: one general course and four honours courses in Assamese, Education, Economics, and Political Science.

Normally, the eligibility to get into Agia College is that the applicant has passed the 10+2 or an equivalent examination, conducted by any recognised board. A student willing to study in honours may require some extra subject-specific criteria. Agia College's admission aims at creating an atmosphere that is as comfortable as possible for students wanting to study in their college.
