Al-Barkaat Institute of Management Studies, Aligarh, was established in the year 2004 as a constituting affiliated college in Uttar Pradesh, India. The institute is located on a beautiful 20. 66-acre campus and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education. The institute is supported by total student strength numbering 168 and faculty of 7, thus providing a conducive learning environment.
Currently, the institute offers one postgraduate degree program to students aspiring for quality management education in the region. The institute has much infrastructure that would enable excellent all-round experience. Its library, the nucleus of all academic resources, is fully automated and barcode-powered, in order to manage its books.
It has a rich collection of books by Indian and foreign authors, subscriptions to journals, online resources, and much more. For the techno-frenzy, there is a well-equipped computer laboratory with 70 multimedia PCs with internet access across the campus. It has sports facilities and a state-of-the-art gymnasium for the physical well-being of students.
The Institute has provided separate hostel accommodation for boys and girls, with due care to provide a comfortable living environment to the students coming from outside. The Al-Barkaat Institute of Management Studies offers a two-year postgraduate degree course in management, that is, the award of a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with an approved intake of 120 students.
This is a full-time, two-year course designed to equip students with the skill set required for business management in the dynamic world. Admissions shall be made on the basis of the score obtained in CAT, CMAT, MAT, and UPCET. 50% of seats are filled through counseling on the basis of Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination conducted by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.
