Ariyalur Engineering College is an institute which was established in 2013 and is located in Ariyalur, Tamil Nadu. Located in a sixty-acre land, AEC is an affiliated college which has been accredited by AICTE. The institute has 5 engineering programmes and covers a vast field of specialisation in engineering. At present, AEC enrols 449 students and employs 80 faculty members, making a healthy student-faculty ratio.

The college is supported by a modern facility/infrastructural base. At Ariyalur Engineering College, students have numerous opportunities which help them to develop as academics and as individuals. The college has a reading hall/library which contains nearly 5000 books on various disciplines of engineering.

This source also offers print and electronic resources for journals thereby developing a healthy learning experience. The campus includes functional laboratories for developing practice-oriented approaches in various fields of engineering.

For the co-curricular activities, AEC contains excellent standard sports facilities and promotes students to be champions in cricket, basketball, badminton, hockey, tennis, and volleyball. The college also provides students play area and a gymnasium for sports and other fitness related activities.

To meet students' technological requirements, AEC possesses strong IT support with a total of 100 systems linked with a 12 Mbps leased line internet connection. The campus also has boys and girls hostel with all the necessary facilities for information outstation students. Ariyalur Engineering College provides a total of six full-time B. E courses.
