Arulmigu Thirupurasundari Amman Polytechnic College was started in the year 1984 at Egai Village, Thirukalukundram, Kanchipuram District of Tamil Nadu. This affiliated college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Four diploma programmes in engineering disciplines for a total enrolment of 495 students are offered by the institute.

The college has a well-qualified group of 31 faculty members, which will help maintain a better student-faculty ratio. The Arulmigu Thirupurasundari Amman Polytechnic College also aims at boasting a competitive learning atmosphere for its students. Besides, it has a central library, with textual and reference books for the academic needs of the students.

The campus is provided with different orientated departmental laboratories where students get practical learning in various fields of engineering. The overall intake sanctioned for all the courses collectively is 240 seats across all the specialisations in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Electrical and Electronics engineering .
