Asian Institute of Rural Technology, Kanpur Dehat

The Asian Institute of Rural Technology, Kanpur Dehat, is an affiliated college established in the year 2015 and located at Shekhupar Village, Kanpur Dehat, Uttar Pradesh. This is an AICTE-approved, co-educational private institution with the motto of delivering quality technical education among the rural masses. Established on a spacious 38-acre campus, the AIRT offers its three courses in Engineering fields.

With a faculty strength of 20, the institute is aims to promote practical and industry-oriented education for its students. Courses offered by AIRT, and the method of education are rural development-oriented, designed to minimise the gap between urban and rural technical education. Asian Institute of Rural Technology is structured with all modern facilities to provide practical training to the students.

There happens to be a health centre that offers first aid in case of urgency. There are a total of three full-time diploma courses that are offered by Asian Institute of Rural Technology.

The courses include Diploma course in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Production Engineering . Each course runs for three years, and these are provided under different branches of Engineering so that students gain technical knowledge and expertise in one area. The approved intake of the institute at present is 180 in all its courses, which is 60 each for a programme.
