Baba Gangadas Government Girls College, Shahpura affiliated with Pt. isayarn Mahila Mahavidyalaya Bikaner came in to existence in the year 1997 at Jaipur (Rajasthan). It is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and is located on a 1. 95 acre campus.
The college is on all around developed with a student enrolment of 1692 and faculty strength of 21 teachers, and it offers seven programs in five degrees. They are B. Com, B. Sc: Maths and Bio Group, BA, MA Political Science & Hindi and M. Sc: Chemistry. Being a government institution it aims to offer quality education to female students in the region.
Beston enhanced range of facilities to complement college academic setting. This important complex of learning possesses a book and periodical collection and other study materials. Ample practical Oratories are present for various departments such us Physics, Chemistry, Zoology Biology and Geography that enhance students practical lessons.
The computer laboratory, equipped with 18 computers installed with Windows 7 & 10 operating system and computers with internet connectivity provide the students of Don Bosco Institute of Technology a feel of modern technological advancement.
For the benefit of the students in terms of physical activities, the college has construction of a basketball court, badminton court in addition to the games like table tennis, carrom, chess and many more. An auditorium is used for hosting events and seminars, whereas a cafeteria is a place for a snack and beverages consumption for students and staff.
