Bhuvan Law College, Bangalore

Bhuvan Law College was established in 2012 and is an affiliated college in Bangalore, Karnataka. Located on a small piece of land which measures two acres, it is located at Venkatala, Yelahanka, to prepare lawyers. BCI approved college, currently the college caters to only 37 students for under graduate program and a faculty of four members.

Bhuvan Law College focuses on providing quality legal education through its two law programmes : the three-year LLB programme and the five-year BBA LLB programme. Bhuvan Law College, Bangalore, is affiliated with Karnataka State Law University (KSLU), Hubballi, and is approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI), New Delhi.

Bhuvan Law College has several facilities that help in making the learning process of its learners more effective. As we know, the core of applying academic resources is a rich library to meet students’ needs in reading legal materials, journals, and other types of legal research. Part of the practicals, the college boasts of a moot court where the students get to practice advocacy in a court-like setting.

The campus possesses up-to-date IT facilities enabling students to use computers, the Internet, and a base of legal Internet references. For the physical development of the students for academic work, Bhuvan Law College provides a sports faculty and a gym. It also provides a cafeteria for students to take a break and cruise around before and after classes.

Concerning health and safety, there is a medical facility on campus, and first aid services are also provided. Also, for its events and seminars, the college has an auditorium, helping to develop the academic atmosphere. These two law programmes, which are offered at Bhuvan Law College, are interventions designed for students who have different educational backgrounds as well as different desires for success.

The three-year LLB programme is for university degree holders who want to pursue a career in law. For those intending to do management courses coupled with law, the integrated BBA LLB five-year course is the full programme.

As with all the courses designed in our curriculum, both courses are designed to equip the students with adequate knowledge in legal matters, adequate skills in critical thinking, and other basic competencies necessary to succeed in a legal career. As part of the admission process in Bhuvan Law College, qualified candidates are chosen and recruited as law students.

Having been accountable to the BCI, the college would probably consider the scores obtained in certain law entrance examinations, academic performance of the qualifying examinations, and perhaps conduct interviews to gauge their potential for learning laws.
