Chhatrapati Shivaji College of Agriculture Institute conducts specialised education for agricultural science through practical training and the latest modern farm techniques. The Chhatrapati Shivaji College of Agriculture admission process aims at selecting those who have the aptitude and interest in studying agricultural sciences.

Usually, this process is also linked with an academic year cycle; in India, for instance, this cycle usually commences around July or August. Candidates are usually evaluated according to their 10+2 level performance and relevant agriculture-related subjects since admission is typically done at this level into the B. Sc Agriculture programme.
