EMEA Training College, Malappuram

EMEA Training College, Malappuram, was set up in the year 2005 for affiliation, and is situated in Kondotty, Malappuram District of Kerala. Located in close proximity to the Calicut International Airport, is this institution that offers teacher education. The college is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

This allows students at EMEA Training College to learn in an environment that has been generously provided with 11. 7 acres of land to establish the facility. The college at the moment has 197 students and 15 teaching staff, thus the college student/teacher ratio is satisfactory. EMEA Training College has available facilities to meet the needs of the students in accomplishing their academic and personal objectives.

The learning library which is one of the significant elements of learning is a repository of more than 3000 volumes of journals, education, encyclopedias and periodicals amongst others. It has a reading room ideally used for reading purpose that can accommodation over 30 people at a given time socially.

Computer assisted learning is facilitated by the college in forms of two computer laboratories which contains 20 systems incorporating internet and reprographic amenities. The science, social science, psychological, and educational technology laboratories are available to the students, which are valued teaching facilities for every intending teacher.

EMEA Training College also takes care of students’ health through provision of a gym, and other sporting sessions to ensure balanced education. At present, EMEATC provides only one principal course, the Bachelor of Education (B. ED). This is a full time course that takes two years of study and has an approved capacity of one hundred students.

The course covers a wide area of preparation and training to make the students efficient teachers in different schools. Emea Training College has an admission policy where the students are given admission based on their performance in their qualifying examination and/or entrance examination depending on the marks you had scored when the opportunity emerged.

The admission policy of the college is in consonance to the policies set by the state government/UT administration and the affiliated university.
