The Faculty of Architecture is one of the premier institutes established in the year 1976 at Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. As a constituent college located in the very city of Lucknow, it has passed over 40 years in shaping the future of architecture.

The enrolment of students is a total of 313, with a faculty strength of 13, thus ensuring personalised attention and quality education to one and all in the college. The facilities provided at the institute enrich the learning experience. A library with about 12,000 books and journals turns it into a powerhouse of knowledge for the budding architect.

State-of-the-art laboratories with modern technology help students in gaining practical experience in many aspects of architectural design and planning. Separate hostels are provided for both boys and girls who are staying in the college from far-off places. The cafeteria, sports facilities, and gym help in maintaining a work-life balance.

The college auditorium provides a platform for events and seminars, conducts intellectual discussions, and helps conduct cultural programs. Institute courses offered by the Faculty of Architecture are a potpourri in architectural education. The institute offers a bouquet of six courses under three degree levels, including full-time courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels.

The flagship course is a Bachelor of Architecture with an intake of 80 students. Thereafter, there is a Master of Architecture program [ M. Arch ]with one each in Interior Design, Environmental Design, and Urban and Regional Planning. One can also do a Ph. D. in Architecture if one wants to take up research work in this college. All courses are full-time courses that ensure intensive and focused study in the field.
