G G Deshanur Arts B M Patil Commerce and S V Sadhunavar Science College Bailhongar started in the year of 1968. It is NAAC accredited and has large numbers of courses spread across arts, commerce, and science streams. This college is situated on a campus of fifteen acres and it has an overall strength of 874 students and has 36 teachers on its rolls.

5 degree programs and 5 courses offered meet the varying and diverse needs of the learners offering both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The college is goal oriented as it attends to the need of offering a complete learning experience with adequate facilities in lieu to the students.
