GCRG College of Pharmacy, Lucknow

GCRG College of Pharmacy, Lucknow, was established in August 2018 and is a new institute in the field of pharmacy education in India. This affiliated college is set used in Bakshi Ka Talab, Lucknow, which is recognised by PCI & AICTE. Catering two courses in pharmacy only, its compact campus of 3. 28 acres has only an intake capacity of 234 students.

The Institute has an adequate faculty with 20 dedicated members and keeps a good student-teacher ratio. With its focus on pharmaceutical sciences, the college provides two programmes , D. Pharma and B. Pharma, serving the needs of students who wish to get a pharmacist degree at different levels. It is the policy of GCRG College of Pharmacy to educate its student of their total learning.

The college has an excellent library that forms the core of the teaching-learning process The library possesses more than 22000 documents in the form of books, references and periodicals. There are many printed and electronic materials available, this honours the research and learning materials of the students.

The campus boasts state-of-the-art IT facilities, including TCS certified computer centre, with a range of more than 180 latest-generation computers installed in an organisational multiplicity of laboratories with concurrent internet accessibility and well integrated wireless facility.

In the context of practical training, the college continues departmental laboratories where theoretical knowledge is gained in practical activities. The institute offers two full-time pharmacy courses, a 4-year Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharma) and a two-year Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharma).

Both courses have an approved capacity of 60 students for each course and thus in total, the institution offers 120 seats per year. The aim, thereby, makes sure that progression focuses on specific areas allowing the college to offer quality education in the pharma sector. There are 234 students enrolled in total and thus the pharmacy graduates are entering the labour market steadily each year.
