Ghubaya College of Engineering and Technology, Firozpur

Affiliated college and established in 2010 named as Ghubaya College Of Engineering & Technology ( GCET) located at Firozpur, Punjab India. Boasting a campus area of the 10 acres GCET provides courses in engineering at the under graduation as well as diploma level.

All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the council of Architecture has recognised the institute which makes it deliver quality education in the field of engineering. Even though it has a student capacity of 110 students and a faculty of 16 students, GCET offers a concentrated studied environment. The college provides 6 subjects in two degrees and focuses in different kinds of engineering.

Ghubaya College Of Engineering & Technology has a number of accreditation in different fields for the overall improvement of the student amenities. The college also offers the hostels to boys and girls separately to cater the outstation students with comfortable stays. Each department has well-equipped laboratories on the campus and theory along with practical sessions helps the students.

An immersed library forms a knowledge centre for users which includes the students as well as the members of the faculty. For those interested in sports the several facilities in the college are available and encouraged for the boosting of sportsmanship and the health of the individuals.

The IT facilities developed at the GCET are appropriate, and the resources required to support the current mode of engineering education are available. In total, the institute provides 6 courses and 4 years full time B.

Tech course along with 2 Diploma program. The B. Tech offers the programs in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering. For diploma holders GCET provides Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering as well as Mechanical Engineering. The total intake approved for all courses is 252 and for B. Tech Civil Engineering alone it is 54.
