GIET Polytechnic was established in 2008 at Khordha and is one of the premier technical institute located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. This co-educational institute, which is approved AI Council for Technical Education offers a number of diploma courses in engineering specialisations. GIET Polytechnic being a focused institution, reviews a total number of 394 students and faculty of 52 members.

The institute offers five diploma courses in different streams of engineering to meet the needs of sought after technicians and engineers. The infrastructure facilities at GIET Polytechnic include efficient physical infrastructure that assist in effective delivery of teaching learning process.
