Gitarattan Institute of Advanced Studies and Training or simply GIAST, was written in 1999 and is an education establishment located in Rohini, Delhi. This affiliated college situated in a 1. 86 acres learn campus aims to cultivate educationist of future generation. Approved by National Council for Teacher Education [NCTE} and recognised by Mr.

National Assessment and Accreditation Council [NAAC], GIAST follows quality education. Currently the institute has two full time course with total enrolment capacity of 377 and is backed by 22 dedicated faculties. The institiute possesses a number of child friendly equipment and facilities as we shall see next chapter equipped to improve the students’ learning environment. The computer lab which has twenty-five desktops installed with Windows 10 and Internet connection address innovative learning resources for students to employ. Approximately 50 sports amenities are offered at GIAST, both indoors and outdoors, for the combined health and education of the students.

It has amenities for indoor sporting facilities such as table tennis, chess, yoga hall, and for playground outside basketball court, cricket ground and football ground. GIAST offers two primary courses in teacher education: the Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed) and the Bachelor of Education (B. Ed), are two year programs.
