Global Pharmacy College, Kuchaman City

As an affiliated College of Pharmacy Global Pharmacy College was established in Kuchaman City Rajasthan is committed to pharmaceutical education. The year of establishment is however not clear, but the institute has carved a niche for it in the provision of pharmacy education in the region.

It is credited by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) so that the degrees offered meet the national standard of Pharmacy college. The college has various facilities that it provides to support the students to improve on the characteristic they have.

As a library it plays an important role of a resource center for the student as well as other stakeholders through availing general pharmaceutical literature and research materials. It also stores well equipped departmental laboratories so as to enable the students to practice on most of the areas in pharmacy.

Furthermore, the institute has provided the best IT facilities that will make the students acquire adequate technologies required in today’s world of pharmacy. The college is affiliated to Rajasthan University of Health Sciences, Jaipur. Currently, the Global Pharmacy College provides a Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharma) programme , which is the foundation of its education.

This two-year diploma course was approved for an intake of 60 students and hence the Learners are helped to achieve their best. D. Pharma programme aims at providing basic knowledge and skills that are necessary in the pharmacy profession as well as create an avenue for those who intend to work in the related fields or take a more advanced course in pharmacy.

Like all other programmes offered by the Global Pharmacy College, the admission process for the D. Pharma programme follows a fairly liberal and merit based policy. Candidates will be admitted depending on their performance in any other relevant entrance examination or the merit achieved in the last qualifying test.

This approach enable the college to offer a place to relief motivated and capable students to pursue their pharmaceutical education at the college. These affiliation status as well as approvals from the regulatory bodies give assurance that the college is committed in producing quality education in compliance with the national benchmark.
