Government Co Ed Polytechnic, Raipur

Government Co-Ed Polytechnic, Raipur, was established in the year 2014 at Byron Bazar, Pension bada, Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The affiliated college approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) provides quality education in the field of engineering. It has an enrolment of 591 students and 18 faculty members.

The Government Co-Ed Polytechnic provides a variety of facilities supporting students' academic growth as well as the evolution of individual skills. There is a well-furnished computer lab equipped with 35 desktops, a printer, and a scanner to cater to all the technological needs of students.

The college library stands as an ocean of knowledge that possesses an abundance of resources for learning for the student community. The polytechnic also provides separate hostel facilities for boys and girls and therefore ensures that boys and girls have comfortable and acceptable accommodation while studying from different regions.

Sports facilities are provided so that students may have a healthy balance between academics and physical fitness. In addition, there are laboratories for each department of the institute to learn through practical experiences for students regarding their areas of study.

Government Co-Ed Polytechnic, Raipur, offers three programmes for the given course – a three-year full-time diploma in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. The courses offered make the students familiar with the different areas of engineering besides imparting diversity in the field.
