Nityanand Mahavidyalaya, Etawah, is an affiliated college determined to impart qualitative education in teacher training. The institution is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), New Delhi, and runs the Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed) programme. The college admits students strictly on merit through marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or the entrance examination.

Nityanand Mahavidyalaya admission procedure is to identify eligible candidates for the D. El. Ed programme among the deserving ones. This limited intake, in good measure, assures a good student-teacher ratio, therefore facilitating personalised attention of students toward quality education.
