Radha Umakant Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya, to my knowledge, is the only college for imparting Sanskrit education in all Bihar Purnea. This kind of unique interest in studying Sanskrit came through much for the time later but the real idea for founding the institution was to Choose worthier students into various programmes at Radha Umakanta Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya between such students in Sanskrit and other allied subjects.

There is also merit which lists among constructions of such institutions for choosing candidates merit wise through their entrance tests besides having other admissions criteria to be taken up by the institution for other courses.
