Earlier, Shri Ram College was built in Muzaffarnagar. This is an institution that serves co-educational students, providing undergraduate and postgraduate programmes into a variety of courses and subjects. The college adopts a holistic admission procedure in consonance with the guidelines of the state government, UT administration, and the affiliated university.

Generally, the admission cycle of Shri Ram College starts following the announcement of qualifying examination results. Eligibility criteria are according to different courses. Most of the time, students should complete their 10+2 from a recognised board to join an undergraduate course, while postgraduate applicants should possess a relevant bachelor's degree.
