Sivaraj Naturopathy and Yoga Medical College Salem is one of the renowned institutes for Naturopathy and Yoga. The related, almost unknown university grants the Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (BNYS) course. Admission for Sivaraj Naturopathy and Yoga Medical College is nonselective, purely on the basis that the candidates must be interested in serving in naturopathy and yoga.

Encouraging holistic health education, the institute provides an ideal training ground for students wishing to pursue their careers in naturopathy and yoga. The increasing demand for practitioners in alternative medicine in India is also liable to support this.
