Swami Vivekananda School of Diploma Durgapur offers diploma programmes in various engineering fields. It is a prestigious institute approved by AICTE, with a pre-admission process where the institute aims to qualify candidates with high aptitude for technical education. The main admission procedure is through the Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnics, West Bengal (JEXPO).

It is imperative for applicants seeking first-year admission to score a valid rank in the JEXPO examination. This examination acts as a gateway for aspiring students to enter into a higher educational realm by pursuing diploma courses at the institute. Admissions are purely merit-based, thus ensuring that only the most competent are selected for the particular programmes.
