Agnel Institute of Technology and Design was established in 2012 under the aegis of Agnel Charities. The college is approved by the AICTE. This institution is known for its growing placement efforts. Students have been placed in top organisations like TCS, IBM, Wipro, and Mahindra, supported by a proactive placement cell conducting career development workshops and corporate training.

AITD Goa admissions are primarily based on performance in the GCET or JEE Main for BE programmes, and through national-level entrance tests such as CMAT, MAT , ATMA, or XAT for the MBA. The college is affiliated with Goa University and thus offers both first-year and lateral-entry options (for Diploma/BSc. holders) with seats granted via merit and counselling.

AITD Goa offers three-year integrated engineering, lateral-entry routes, and a two-year MBA. AITD Goa facilities reflect its commitment to holistic student development.
