All India Institute of Local Self Government, Ahmedabad

All India Institute of Local Self Government (AIILSG) Ahmedabad was established in 1965. AIILSG Ahmedabad offers three courses in the fields of local governance, health and sanitation, and hospitality management. The institute is recognised by the Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India and affiliated with Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU) .

The institute also collaborates with the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) for the B. Voc course. The AIILSG Ahmedabad courses include the Sanitary Inspectors’ Diploma Course (S. I. ) for one year, Diploma in Local Self Government (L. S. G. D. ) - (DLP) for one year, and Bachelor of Vocational Education - Hospitality Management for three years.

The AIILSG Ahmedabad eligibility criteria for admission to these courses are 10+2 or equivalent with science subjects.
