Ambika Institute of Teachers Education, Shivpuri

A College Affiliated from MP Bhoj University which is established in 2014 at Shivpuri,Madhya Pradesh Which Provides B. ED Regular course & Distance course to the students. This co-educational institution which covers 2 acres of land is a teacher-training institution. NCTE approved institute provides two special teacher education programmes for total of 295 students.

The college has a limited strength on faculty which is 8 members and it ensures a concentrated learning if prospective teachers. The institute has state of the art facility mostly equipped to facilitate the learning needs of the students. Lecturers use a central library to access knowledge banking while practical laboratories are specialised by department.

There exist sports fields and a gym on the campus to support students’ physical development and education. As for the technology enhanced learning the establishment has outstanding information technology facilities. Some of the facilities that are available include an auditorium which is used in stages several events including seminars thus making the campus active all times.

The institute also gives importance for student’s health with a medical facility having first aid amenities. Ambika Institute of Teachers Education offers two full-time courses in the field of education. B. ED (Bachelor of Education) and D. EL. ED (Diploma in Elementary Education). The institute has an approved intake of 50 students for each course, totaling 100 seats annually.

These programmes aim to produce skilled and knowledgeable educators ready to shape young minds. Admission policies exist at Ambika Institute of Teachers Education in which candidates are selected based on marks attained in other examinations as well as entry tests. The admissions for the B. Ed programme are done as per guidelines of the state government and the university offering affiliation to the college. The D.

El. Ed programme also undergoes same process of implementation in compliance with the procedures prescribed by the state government/UT administration.
