Amrutha College of Mangalore is a self-financing affiliated college in Mangalore city of Karnataka which was started in the academic year 2007-08. This precious institution located in one hundred acre campus provides a combination of commerce and education to create future executives.
It is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and at present 156 students are admitted to this college successfully mentored and taught by Twelve sincere Faculties of the college. Amrutha College has many state-of the-art facilities that aims at improving learning outcomes of the learners enrolled in the college.
The key and noteworthy centrepiece of any educational institution is the library that has a collection of over 6000 text books, an exhaustive reference section and a quiet reading area. To those students who are technology wise, the college has a computer laboratory installed with modern software and hardware to ensure that the students get an exposure to modern technology.
Sports lover have their ground into the college’s sports department because besides being a way to exercise the body it has it in a way that challenges the learners spiritually. It is important to note that Amrutha College offers four full time courses which clearly shows the colleges intention of providing quality education in these charged fields. The college has offered admission in B.
Ed programme which is one of the prime courses offered at this college and all together the college has an approved intake of 100 students in this programme and the college mainly emphasise on the education of teachers. Complementing this are three B. Com programmes. B. Com , B. Com with Computer Applications, B.
Com with tally , this course are specifically developed to given the students precise training to meet the demands of commerce field. The admission procedure of Amrutha College is said to be merit based especially in its B. Ed programme.
Based on the qualifying examinations and entrance tests’ results, the institution selects its students taking into consideration the state government and the affiliated university guidelines. This approach helps in the realisation of the educational dreams of persons most deserving in the Institution.
