Anand College of Engineering and Management, or ACEM, in Kapurthala, Punjab, was established in the year 2010. This affiliated college, recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), is an engineering college which comprises 10 acres of land and offers various engineering courses.
ACEM boasts a total student enrolment of 990 students and an equal number of enrolments complemented by a faculty of 76 members. The institute offers a total of 8 programmes in two degree types and offers computer science and mechanical and civil engineering disciplines in B. Tech and Diploma.
Anand College of Engineering and Management provides all necessary infrastructures to provide a conducive environment to foster the students' learning process. The boys and the girls are accommodated in different hostels which include spacious rooms and mess halls, and the hostels are connected with the internet at all times.
A medical centre that is well facilitated provides health care services all through the night, which is further supported by collaborations with neighbouring hospitals. The library of the college is believed to be the most important section of the institute; here students and professors find books, periodicals, electronic resources and other materials for their studies.
Currently ACEM provides a total of 8 programmes: three B. Tech programmes and three diploma programmes, all conducted full-time. The B. Tech programmes take four academic years, while the Diploma programmes take three academic years. The institute is capable of producing a large number of engineering students every year, as it has a total approved intake of 420 seats for all its courses put together.
