Anand Niketan College of Agriculture, in the Chandrapur district ever since its inception has been amongst the premier agricultural colleges in the state of Maharashtra. The college gave imparting specialised education in agricultural sciences under the B. Sc. programme in Agriculture (Hons.

Anand Niketan College of Agriculture, Chandrapur runs on a merit-based admission system where admission is based on the candidate's performance in various Common Entrance Examinations conducted for admission to the B. Sc. Agriculture (Hons) programme.
