Antony B. Ed. College was set up initially in the year 2013 at Sagarpara, Murshidabad, West Bengal and was an affiliated institution. This institution is a co-educational one solely for teacher education. There are two full-time courses offered by the institution, which include Bachelor of Education and Diploma in Elementary Education.

At its inception, this institution was affiliated with NCTE and had a compact campus of 0. 96 acres. With a total student enrolment of 393 and faculty strength of 32.
