Established in 2008, the Army College of Medical Sciences(ACMS) is a medical college based in New Delhi. The foundation stone for the institute was laid by the Union Defence Minister Mr George Fernandes in 2004 and was later inaugurated by the then Union Defence Minister Mr AK Antony on 5th January 2009. The institute is private and functions under the aegis of the Army Welfare Education Society.
It is also affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University New Delhi. ACMS is recognised by the Medical Council of India. It is ranked 29th in medical colleges.
