Arulmurugan College of Engineering Karur popularly known as ACE is an affiliated college set up in 2012 at Thennilai, Tamilnadu. The institute is affiliated with AICTE and it provides a complete combination of engineering courses. ACE is a large campus spread over 50 acres with total strength of the students as 562 and the faculty members as 59.
Of these degrees, the college offers 8 courses of which they specialise in several fields of engineering. The Arulmurugan College of Engineering Karur has provided learning and development facilities to accommodate the students needs and facilitate their learning.
Newly built over an area of 4940 sq ft, the library is fully computerised with high speed internet facility and containing thousands of books and journals including e-books and e-journals. Separate hostel facilities for boys and girls are available in ACE with 300 beds for boys and 100 for girls with facilities of equipped rooms to meet their needs.
There is provision for volley ball, basket ball, adjacent to this there is cricket playing area and there is well furnished gym also. Transportation through a fleet of buses is available to and from a 90 kilometre radius thus enabling the students and the faculty to move from one place to another easily. Currently, Arulmurugan College of Engineering has a total of 6 Under graduate and 2 Post graduate programmes.
The under graduate courses are the full time BE (Bachelor of Engineering) courses and the post graduate courses are ME (Master of Engineering) degrees. The colleges approved intake for all the courses is 288 students.

For admissions to undergraduate programmes 65 % of seats are provided to candidates through TNEA single window system which comes under government quota or GQ. Application requirements and, therefore, admission standards are consistent with the requirements set by the DOTE in Chennai and Anna University. TNEA scores are used by the college for admission purposes so as to avoid compromising on the quality of students.
