Bundelkhand Government Ayurvedic College and Hospital, Jhansi was established in the year 1934. The institution is more than ninety years old and is well known for the kind of study and practice of Ayurveda. It is an affiliated college and has been really nurturing budding Ayurvedic practitioners.

The college is certified by the CCIM, Central Council for Indian Medicine and therefore all the courses followed here are in accordance with the national level. A single degree, namely, Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), is taught by an 23-member strong faculty of experienced professionals.
