Survey of Captain Sukhwasi Singh Smarak Janta Mahavidyalaya, Ghatampur, revealed that the college was established in the year 1995, and it falls under the university of the state of Uttar Pradesh. It works from an area of 3. 1 acres, and NCTE approves of it. The staff-student ratio on the college campus is kept at an acceptable level where the enrolment program of the students is 1,063.

Total intake for B. Ed program is 100 seats and for D. El. Ed program is 50 seats. Both the courses provide education for the ventures in the teaching profession. In total, the students intake is 1,063 for the courses offered by the institute, and thus the overall contributions made by the institute to teacher education are significant.
