Situated on a compact 3-acre campus, the institute has a total student strength of 198, while the faculty contains a total of 8 dedicated teachers. Central India Institute offers a single specialised course: Bachelor of Education (B. Ed. ), which reflects that the institution is focused on teacher training. Facilities to enrich the learning processes of students are adequately available within the institute.

The important facility availed to the students is a well-stocked library of more than 3,140 books and reference materials; it is provided with facilities such as a separate section for references, journals area, and a good reading room.

Central India Institute also has many specialised laboratories, including a Psychology Lab, a Science Lab, a Computer Lab, and Education Technology and Media Labs for practical learning. Along with this, the information technology infrastructural facilities are excellent, allowing students to access modern technological resources.

An auditorium on-campus helps in the organisation of events and seminars, thereby enriching the academic atmosphere. Central India Institute offers a B. Ed. on a full-time basis, extending for two years with an approved intake of 100 students. This programme is designed to turn student-cum-teachers into fruitful careers in teaching, with both theory and practical knowledge imparted.

Since the institute focuses on this curriculum with limited courses, a very concentrated and in-depth approach towards the education of teachers may be made sure for the modern classrooms. Central India Institute admission is done based on merit evaluated from the marks obtained in the Qualifying Examination and/ or Entrance Examination.

The institute follows the policy in admission as declared by the State Government, Union Territory Administration, or the University affiliated with it. This makes the admission process open and transparent to all applicants. The Central India Institute of Management perceives the requirement of a fine balance in the life of a student and offers many facilities in this regard.

It has separate hostels for boys and girls to assure comfortable living conditions for students who require this facility.
