Chamarajanagar Institute of Medical Sciences (CIMS) was started in 2013 and is situated in Chamarajanagar of Karnataka state. The acts of this particular affiliated college is to run under the government which makes it legal liable to approach the National Medical Commission (NMC) for quality educational results.
Located in a large complex, CIMS provides a large number of educational programmes in the field of medicine to the population. The total and existing strength of the institute is 596 and faculty of 84, which gives an ideal atmosphere for budding medical students/faculty.

In addition, CIMS offers several postgraduate courses including MD and MS courses in specialties including Anaesthesiology , Biochemistry, Pathology , General Surgery, Ophthalmology , Orthopaedics, Community Medicine ,Otorhinolaryngology, and Obstetrics and Gynaecology. These full-time courses usually take between three and six years depending on the programme.
