Cochin University College of Engineering, Kuttanad, is a college founded in the year 1999, which is the Cochin University College of Engineering Kuttanad. This affiliated college of Cochin University of Science and Technology is located in Alappuzha, Kerala, and has been preparing students for the future of engineering for more than two decades.
Located in the dynamic city of Mombasa and spread over an area of 40 acres, CUCEK hosts 1000-plus students and offers rigorous engineering programmes. AICTE has acknowledged this college, which maintains its quality of education and the curriculum at par with the industry requirement.
Pursuant to the above recruitment, CUCEK has qualified faculty of 19 members, thus facilitating small lecture classes resulting in a very effective student-to-staff ratio. Cochin University College of Engineering is affiliated with Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), Kochi .
Cochin University College of Engineering can proudly present a wide list of equipment providing a top-quality educational environment for students. For research purposes the library offers national and international print journals and e-journals for the users. Sports lovers get a home in the college, as it has a strong sports facility to host the cultural and sports festival ‘SATTVA’.

CUCEK also provides reasonable hostel facilities for both male and female students, thereby providing them with a home-like environment for learning. CUCEK is currently delivering six courses at two degree levels and as such serves a cross-section of students’ interests.
The college offers 5 full-time B. Tech courses, including Computer Science and Engineering , Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering , Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Information Technology , and 1 full-time MCA course for the fulfilment of the changing world of industry.
The total approved intake for these courses is 360 students annually, and it shows that the college provides quality education and intake of a huge number of would-be engineers. The admission process of the CUCEK mainly depends on the Cochin University of Science and Technology Common Admission Test, also known as CUSAT CAT .
