DAV Training College, Kanpur was set up in the year 1948. The college is located at Civil Lines, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Being an affiliated college and recognised by National Council for Teacher Education, NCTE, DAV Training College has been producing the future teachers for over seven decades. Situated on a congested campus of 1. 03 acres, it has focused committed learning for 160 enrolled students.
There is a student-faculty ratio of 40:1 so that individualised attention is provided to every student who wishes to be a teacher. The college has numerous facilities that exist to enhance the learning experience from the students in college.
