This is a co-educational institute, which is annexed to the university and is focused on the provision of quality education in the field of teacher training. Situated in a vast area of 5.

07 acres, the institute has been accredited by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), which clearly proves the institute’s standard. Having a total of 450 students and 25 faculty members, the education that the DPM Institute of Education brings to potential teachers is fundamentally sound.

It boasts of having made available an array of infrastructures that provide a great foundation for education for its students. The available resource centre can also be accessed for updated textbooks, research encyclopaedias, journals and other referred sources of information.

As far as extracurricular activities are concerned, especially sports and other related activities, the college boasts of well-equipped sports fields and a fully equipped gym.
