Dr PDBH Government PG College, Kotdwar, was established in the year 1971 as one of the major educational institutes under Pauri Garhwal of Uttarakhand. It is a co-educational campus covering an area of 13 acres, and the college conducts courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. This college is affiliated with the state university and accredited by NAAC.
It has also acquired approval from the National Council for Teacher Education. Student enrolment is 4,332: 2,797 females and 1,612 males. PDBH Government PG College is merit-based. If one looks at the marks obtained in the qualifying examinations, then that too serves as the basic criterion of admission. The college has adopted CUET UG scores for admission to undergraduate courses.
