ESO-Established two decades ago in the year 1985, the Elite School of Optometry is a leading institution in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. With a rather small area of 3 acres of total land holding the ESO has successfully established itself as an institute quite renowned for its optometry education. ESO has numerous infrastructures which will help add value to the learning process of the students.
The college library can be highly regarded as one of its crown jewels as the library is equipped with 4000 books and other periodicals. It also contains the largest collection of optometry material in Asia, thanks to the donations of great professions such as Prof. Jay M Enoch.
The laboratory equipment in the school is well availed to ensure that the learners can make practical analysis in biochemical aspects of analysis as well as disease analysis. Technological competency is also emphasised with ESO having a computer laboratory accessible to internet 24 hours where necessary technological competencies such as Visual Basic programming are learnt.
Furthermore, the institute ensures a good alumni base helping current learners with job placements and other practical connections.
