EP Odum School of Environmental Sciences, a constituent college, was established in 1996 by Assam University, specialising in education and research in the field of environment in Silchar, Assam. It has been grooming environmental leaders for posterity for more than two decades.

This institute is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC), besides offering a variety of specialised programmes in environmental sciences at postgraduate and doctoral levels. With a faculty strength of 11 dedicated professionals, the institution ensures personalised attention and quality education for its students.
