ES College of Nursing, Villupuram

ES College of Nursing situated at Villupuram was started in the year 2007 to provide nursing education in Tamil Nadu. It is a co-ed private college situated in Irungalur at the Chennai-Trichy Highway, This college is NAAC B++ accredited and is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University Chennai.

The institute is located on 9 acres of land and has divided its facilities for providing diploma, Undergraduate and Postgraduate nursing courses. ES College of Nursing boasts of a student enrolment of 565 and 48 members of faculty who can ensure the delivery of quality education for nursing.

According to the features, ES College of Nursing has equipped itself with excellent facilities to enhance the educational channel. The library which occupies a floor area of 3500 sq. ft has a rich collection of books and can access 15 leading national and international journals.

Training facilities of the college include Prospector Allied Health Skills Laboratory, Human Nutrition and Dietetics laboratory, Biochemistry laboratory, Maternal and Child Health laboratory and more. The campus has a 450 seated multipurpose hall that is equipped with state-of-art gadgets such as LCD projectors and video conferencing resources among others.

There is a different hostel for boys and girls where rooms providing 3 to 6 cots, study tables and recliners are available along with recreation halls. The college also has a health center, a cafeteria, and facilities for indoor games and outdoor games. ES College of Nursing currently has a total of 8 courses in its portfolio at 3 levels of degree. The institute offers the full-time courses for B.

Sc Nursing , Post Basic B. Sc Nursing and various M. Sc Nursing as Medical Surgical Nursing, Obstetrics and Gynecological Nursing, Child Health Nursing, Mental Health Nursing and Community Health Nursing. Furthermore the college provides Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology. Students seeking entry into the college must fulfill certain academic standards to attain eligible marks in their previous examinations.
