Faculty of Law, Tantia University, Sri Ganganagar

This law school was established in 2015 as a new faculty of law within the Tantia University, Sri Ganganagar. This faculty is spread in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan as a part of Tantia University and is dedicated to provide specialised courses in law for the law graduates.

The institute has also been accredited by the Bar Council of India (BCI) to ascertain that the institute offers its programmes in compliance with the most stringent requirement of the apex bar council of India. Currently, there is a lack of information regarding the physical structures in the campuses but the Faculty of Law aims at offering a favourable environment that enhances legal education.

The institute is located at Sri Ganganagar, which is in close proximity to the RIICO Bus Stand, this makes it easier to locate for students from various part of the area. The Faculty of Law presents a clear and focused curriculum of legal courses depending on ones legal education level.

Currently, the institute provides three full-time programmes : The following degree programmes which can be offered in Australia are LLB (Bachelor of Laws), BA LLB (an integrated course), and LLM (Master of Laws). The three years LLB programme; the total intake for the programme is 120 students for graduates of any field who wish to be lawyers.

The five-year integrated- course BA-LLB that also offers 120 seats is for those students who are interested in studying law in conjunction with their bachelor’s degree. For students interested in getting higher legal education the LLM lays 60 seats for two years in order to allow law graduates to offer specialised practice in any legal practice they intend to pursue.

The admission procedure in the Faculty of Law, Tantia University is simple so that it becomes easy for common people to apply. There are no specific reservation for the entrance exam but the institute could base it on the scores of X and XII standards and/or have their own test or interview session. Mission of the Faculty of Law, Tantia University is to nurture future legal profession in the country. It has got BCI approval and apart from general law graduate programmes, it has a variety of programme to offer to meet different demand of legal education in order to build a strong base of student.
