Gazole College of Education, Malda

As a relatively young institution, Gazole College of Education Malda's mission is to build the future of education. Established at Gazole, West Bengal, this is a co-educational college with an affiliation system and offers only teacher’s education programmes. The campus of the college occupies 1 acre and enables 192 students enrolled at the college to study in comfort.

The college has a faculty of 16 members to teach students, which helps to provide students with proper importance and knowledge. Gazole College of Education, Malda is affiliated with the college Baba Saheb Ambedkar Education University, Kolkata. Gazole College of Education Malda has installed several facilities that work towards making learning and other college experiences better.

Undoubtedly, any academic resources are incomparable without a library, containing the necessary literature and offering a separate reading room. The campus includes smart classes which are well facilitated with sound technological infrastructure to enhance the teaching-learning process.

As for students extracurricular activities, there exist sports facilities able to be used to host events and seminars and an auditorium as well. The college also caters to student health with a health centre which provides first aid services to the students.

On this note, the Gazole College of Education offers facilities for hostels for male and female students to ensure that students who live away from the facility can easily afford to be coached from a distance. There is a canteen centre for students and employees of the institution on the territory of the campus and a guest house for accommodation of the coming faculty and their close ones.

As for the type of academic programmes, Gazole College of Education teaches two major teacher education programmes. There are two programmes of Teacher Education being offered by the college: B. Ed – Bachelor of Education and D. El. Ed – Diploma in Elementary Education both of which are two-year full-time courses.

Therefore the admission process at Gazole College of Education slightly differs for the two programmes offered by the college. The various intakes have different requirements for the B. ED course, where students are evaluated according to the marks that they get in the qualifying exams and also the university standard.
