GM College of Education came into existence in the year 2007. It is an institution that offers co-education and comes under the affiliation of Kurnool District of Andhra Pradesh. The institution has the approval of the National Council for Teacher Education, NCTE. The institution has a compact campus of 1 acre of land to assure a favourable space for learning for students in their teaching career.

With an enrolment of 156 students and a teaching faculty strength of 16 members. GM College of Education maintains a favourable student-to-teacher ratio and thereby provides them with personalised attention and interactive learning experiences. The college offers a well-rounded education through the provision of a wide range of facilities for student development.

At present, it offers only one primary course, Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.

), a two-year full-time course meant to prepare students with the necessary knowledge and skills to teach appropriately. The enrolment capacity of B. Ed. has been approved for 100 seats. The institution integrates theoretical study with practical teaching experiences required in it for proper education.
